Resident Evil 5 on PS3 outsells 360 version 4:1

Since it’s release yesterday in Japan, Ameblo.jp are reporting that the PlayStation 3 version of Resident Evil 5 has sold 222,000 copies and 56,000 on Xbox 360. This makes the PS3 version the highest selling Resident Evil title in Japan since Resident Evil 4 on the PS2 which it also outsold. Mutliple stores have already reported that the hardware bundles are selling fast in favor of the PS3. One large store even sold out all of their PS3 bundles in a mere 20 minutes.
It’s not completely clear how they, or anyone for that matter, managed to gather data from every store in Japan in such a short time. Keep checking back for something more official.
