Deadly Premonition Review
Deadly Premonition (Formerly know as Rainy Woods) is a very difficult game to describe. It was originally planned for a 2008 release but complications due to its striking similarity to the David Lynch television show Twin Peaks caused it to be delayed. Deadly Premonition requires a special mindset to fully understand what makes its so great. In other words, it’s an acquired taste. From a “normal” point of view the game would be trash due to the graphics alike the last generation of games, stiff controls and sketchy voice acting. But ladies and gentlemen, that is what makes this game so damn fun. So many things are wrong in this game but that’s what makes it work. (more…)

Dead Space : Extraction is a on rails shooter for the Nintendo Wii and while being pretty under the radar the game turned out to be a fantastic experience. With platform defining graphics, great gameplay and an engaging story. DS:E is a must have for Wii owners. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Review
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is the latest entry in the long running horror series Silent Hill. A franchise know for it’s disturbing imagery, cultic religious themes and it’s ability to wow the player with more thought required stories than M. Night Shyamalan could ever cook up. Shattered Memories takes almost all we know about Silent Hill and turns it upside down in an effort to appeal to newbies and to give the diehard fans something new. Left 4 Dead Survivor Pack Now Available
Rejoice zombie slayers! The new Left 4 Dead DLC has hit the Xbox Live Marketplace and his now available to download for the low price of FREE. The DLC weighs in at 101MB. The new content allows for Death Toll and Dead Air to be playable in versus as well as adding a the new Survivor mode. What are you waiting for? Get your zombie killing groove on!

Hell Descent (your hell home away from home) has launched its official Youtube channel. The channel will be dedicated to gameplay, trailers and previews of upcoming horror games. Online versus mutliplayer coming to RE5? (UPDATE)
Capcom have added and then removed a load of additonal trophies from the PlayStation 3 version of Resident Evil 5. The requirements to obtain the trophies make mention of a “versus” mode and a “survivor” mode, as well as a third mode called “slayers”.
Apparently the above mentioned modes are not featured in the retail version of Resident Evil 5, so it’s uncertain what they actually are. Perhaps a they’re trophies for a DLC pack of some sort. No details are official confirmed though, so mark this as a rumor until they are.
